Frequently Asked Questions

How do I join this effort?

All you have to do is register online for PegaWorld between April 8, 2019 and April 30, 2019. In addition to being part of the tech event of the year, you’ll help empower the next generation of tech leaders.

Do I need to donate anything?

No, all you need to do is register for PegaWorld. The Trefler Foundation will donate an amount equal to 50% of the purchase price of each eligible PegaWorld 2019 registration, excluding add-on registration fees for Developer Day and/or training, sold between April 8, 2019 and April 30, 2019 to Girls in Tech. If you’d like to make an additional donation to Girls in Tech on your own, you can do so here.

Is a donation made for everyone who registers?

The Trefler Foundation will not make donations for purchases by Pega partners, including PegaWorld 2019 passes or registrations.

How much is the Trefler Foundation donating?

That depends on how many people register! The Trefler Foundation has not set a donation limit, so the more eligible people register, the more we can support tomorrow’s leaders.

What if I have a Bundle Pass, comp code, or registering through another pre-paid program?

Only passes purchased and redeemed between April 8, 2019 and April 30, 2019 will count towards this program.

What if I need to cancel at a later date?

We understand life gets in the way and can prevent you from attending the event, but we won’t let that take away from the donation to Girls in Tech, unless you are issued a refund. We recommend you transfer your registration to a colleague, so they can bring back powerful insights to your organization.

Why is Pega running this program?

The missions of Girls in Tech and Pega run parallel as we both love technology and believe it should be accessible to all. From empowerment to education, together we can harness the power of tech to change the world.
